This year's 2009 Revolutionary War Encampment was a great success.
A special thanks goes out to all the participants and volunteers, specifically
Paul Misko. Paul hand crafted a walnut bench from old tree branches found
at the Bevier House and at the beginning of the season, he graciously donated
it to the UCHS to be raffled. 130 raffle tickets were sold over the summer
and well over $100 was raised to help the Society. At the Revolutionary War
Encampment, Paul drew the ticket- Congratulations to winner Jan Leas! Thanks
again to Paul Misko. (photo Misko and Leas)
Despite uncertain weather the Attic Sale was an outstanding success! Over
$2000 was raised to fund UCHS collections care. Many thanks to all board
members, volunteers, vendors, and buyers!

Trustee Bill Rhoades, his wife Sally, and Board Secretary Maureen Nagy.
